The story
Aspro was the first house on the property, built by a sea captain's family in the 1920s and rebuilt around its original courtyard in 2017.
The three bedrooms each open onto the courtyard, so the children can be in bed while the adults stay at the table under the olive tree.
The pool has a shallow step at one end, wide enough for small children to sit in, and a deep end for everyone else.
