Sifnos has no airport, which is part of why it stays quiet. Most guests fly to Athens and take the fast boat; we meet every ferry at Kamares.

No cleaning fee, no booking fee, no surprise at the end. The only extra is the Greek climate fee, paid on arrival.

House rules

Check-in from 16:00, check-out by 11:00. If the next guests allow, we'll let you stay later for free; otherwise we keep your bags and a shower for you.

30% to confirm, the rest eight weeks before you arrive. We hold a €500 damage deposit on your card and release it three days after you leave.

Full refund up to 60 days before arrival, 50% up to 30 days. Inside 30 days we refund whatever we manage to re-let.

Children of any age are welcome; the pools have no fence, so small ones need an adult. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in Lemoni and Pevkos.

The cove carries sound, so we ask for quiet on the terraces after midnight. There are no parties or events.

Island water is precious: showers are fine, but please don't leave taps running. Solar panels cover most of the villas' power.

11 — Questions

Before youbook.

The things guests ask most. Anything else, message Katerina: she answers from 8 till late.

Per villa, per night, for up to the number of guests it sleeps. Linen, towels, a mid-week clean and the port pick-up are included.

Not for the villas: we bring you from the port and the boat and the beach are at the bottom of the steps. For exploring the island we can have a small car waiting at the villa from €45 a day.

Very. Aspro and The Big House have shallow pool steps, and we bring cots, high chairs and pool toys at no charge. The pools have no fences, so small children need an adult nearby.

Yes. Eleni cooks dinner in your villa on request, and we can set up a daily breakfast from the Apollonia bakery for €18 a guest.

A Greek government charge on every holiday rental: €15 a night per villa from April to October and €4 in winter. It is paid on arrival and is the only extra.

June and September for warm sea without the crowds; October for half the August price. July and August are the liveliest and book up first.
